General terms and conditions of sale

1. GENERAL
These conditions concern any stay on the Camping des Lacs located Plage de la Guerlie in Pressignac (Charente). Phone : 05 45 31 89 03, email : info@campingdeslacs.fr, website : campingdeslacs.fr.
This campsite received the 4 (four) stars label in October 2017 delivered by Atout France.
Opening dates: from April 1st to October 31st.
It is managed by SASU Lac de l’Impactite, registered 818608598 00012 at RCS Angoulême.

2. RULES OF THE STAY
All reservations are nominative and cannot be transferred.
To register the reservation, the tenant must imperatively return the reservation request with a payment of 30% of the total amount of the rental + cancellation and interruption of stay insurance (optional). A reservation only becomes effective after the customer has paid a deposit and sent a confirmation letter signed by the campsite.
Please note: your reservation option can be exercised in case of late payment of the deposit, the option period being set at 15 days.
You will have to pay the balance of the amount of the stay 30 days before the beginning of your stay by the means mentioned in #3. In the absence of full payment 30 days before your arrival, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

The rates indicated are guaranteed for the current season. The campsite reserves the right to modify the rates at any time after the date indicated. Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is advisable to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly.
Rates are inclusive of 10% VAT. Tourist tax not included in the price (2020: 0.50€ per night and per adult).

3. ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT

4. CAPACITY
The number of persons mentioned per accommodation in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed, taking into account the equipment available. It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons.

5. RENTALS
The rental of a pitch or rental accommodation of any kind implies the full acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale and the rules of procedure by the contracting parties.
Pets (dogs and cats) are accepted for an extra charge if the rules of hygiene are respected. Under no circumstances should they be left alone or in the vicinity of the rented accommodation. They must be kept on a leash, tattooed or chipped and vaccinated. Dog droppings to be collected. The vaccination booklet is compulsory.
Rental of pitches :
We put at your disposal a bare pitch, which can accommodate up to 10 people, to install your tent, your caravan or your motor home.
Pitches are available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 12.00 pm on the day of departure. Any overrun will result in the invoicing of an extra day. This package gives free access to the sanitary facilities, the reception services, the swimming pool (except for groups without a lifeguard), the playgrounds and free entertainment (in July-August). Supplements : Persons (adults or children) or additional elements present on the pitch (electricity, vehicle, animal, etc.) are subject to a daily cost.
Please note: the allocation of places is carried out without distinction in the order in which reservations are registered. The Management reserves the right to modify the allocation of the pitch on the arrival of the camper.
Accommodation rental :
Definition of the rental seasons: Refer to the price sheets.
Rental periods and duration: Rentals are possible for one week or per night except July-August. In July-August, accommodation is rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday according to availability.
The rental price includes: the rental of the accommodation, charges (water, electricity), access to the reception services, the swimming pool (except for groups without a lifeguard), the playgrounds and free entertainment (in July and August).
Rentals are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11am on the day of departure after inventory and inventory. Departure inventories cannot be requested before 8:00 am and after 11:00 am, by appointment and according to availability. Any overrun will result in the invoicing of an extra day.
Assignment, subletting: All rentals are nominative and can in no case be assigned or sublet.
Security deposit: Tenants must provide a security deposit on arrival, the amount of which will depend on the accommodation rented. This security deposit will be returned in full on the day of departure after a satisfactory inventory of fixtures and an exit inventory. Otherwise it will be deducted from the deposit:

– The value of the missing or damaged items

– A lump sum of 100€ for installations that are insufficiently cleaned or smell of tobacco.

– The amount of repairs in case of damage caused by the occupant.

– Degradations higher than the sum paid as a security deposit will be charged to the client after charging the security deposit.

Cleaning

The cleaning of the rental is the responsibility of the tenant if he has not subscribed to the cleaning option. At the end of the stay, the entire property must be returned in perfect state of cleanliness. Otherwise, a sum of 100€ for the cleaning will be requested.

6. CAMPING ACCESS

Access to the campsite is strictly reserved for campsite guests who have paid for their entire stay.

An access badge is required to open the gate. It can be issued to any customer who requests it against a deposit of 20 (twenty) euro, which will be returned at the end of the stay in exchange for the said badge.

Visitors will be admitted only after agreement of the reception and presentation of their identity card. They must leave the camp before 9pm. They will have access to the infrastructures of the campsite.

7. CHANGE OF STAY

Any modification of the original contract (duration, identity, number of occupants…) will lead to its cancellation. In case of inaccurate declaration, the present contract will be cancelled by right and the sums paid will remain the property of the campsite.

8. LATE ARRIVALS / EARLY DEPARTURES

In the absence of a written message from the camper, specifying that he or she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch or accommodation becomes available 24 hours after the arrival time stipulated in the rental contract, and full payment of the services remains required.

No reduction will be granted in the case of late arrival or early departure.

10. CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of stay by Camping des Lacs

In case of force majeure, the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for security reasons. If you have already left your home, we will offer you a relocation to another similar accommodation at no extra charge. If you are not satisfied with any of these offers, you will be refunded the full amount paid; no other compensation can be claimed.

Cancellation of stay by the customer 

All clients are advised to take out cancellation and interruption of stay insurance at the time of booking. It is calculated on the basis of 3.5% of the total amount of the reservation and payable in full and only at the time of booking. It covers the reimbursement of penalties in the event of cancellation or modification of the stay for a guaranteed reason, the reimbursement of paid and unused stay fees in the event of early return, on the totality of reserved services.

No reimbursement will be made without taking out this insurance.

11. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAMPSITE

It cannot be engaged in the event of loss, theft or damage of any kind (vehicle or other) during or following a stay, as well as in the event of breakdown or disablement of technical equipment. Children must be under the supervision of their parents.

As our campsite is located in our beautiful French countryside, it cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by the presence of its natural inhabitants such as field mice, spiders, wasps…

12. CLAIMS

Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days of the stay. If no agreement can be reached between the parties, it will be possible to refer the matter to the consumer mediator within one year of receipt of the A.R. by the operator. 13. INTERNAL REGULATIONS

All campers are required to comply with the campsite’s internal rules and regulations, under penalty of sanctions that may go as far as the cancellation of the contract or exclusion without refund.

The key to your accommodation will be given to you on your arrival after an inventory and inventory of fixtures.

During your stay, we ask you to respect all the markings and safety instructions as they will be displayed to you, and to return the keys of your rental at the time of the inventory of fixtures on your departure.
